STUFF ABOUT "MOOKIE": I've been drawing since I was four years old and I've never taken an art class. My best friend slapped the nickname "Mookie" on me in high school. I'm a proud Geek and Gamer who knows when not to talk about his hobbies. I enjoy classical music, jazz, power metal, techno and hip-hop. I'm an incorrigible optimist who loves hugs and happy endings. I have been a vegan for nearly six years, and your love of ham sandwiches does not interest me in the slightest. I am an idealist who has tempered his dreams with a healthy dose of reality. I have no tolerance for people, but I adore persons (i.e. crowds suck, individuals are fascinating). It is a frustrating effort to get me out of the house on the weekends. Good conversation over a hearty meal is my idea of heaven. I don't smoke or use drugs. I appreciate hearty beer, scotch, cognac, red wine, port wine and whiskey. I complain a lot. I sleep beside my crew of stuffed animals, named "Big Panda," "Thump the Magic Cat," "Floopy, the Bunny Nobody Wanted," "Dizzy" and "Common Cold." Drawing and writing the adventures of Dominic Deegan has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I love my readers.
